Road of Life

"The love for a child gives us the strength to work with that child, to give that child a life in the future… to help them grow. We're all idealists here," says Anatoly Beznosov, a neurologist at the Krasnodon Children's Home. Anatoly works with children who require palliative care and attention every day. During the hardest days in Donbass, Anatoly and his colleagues had to evade Ukrainian shelling and provided care for the children in basements. However, as life gradually returns to normal, Krasnodon Children's Home has started to receive support from the Road of Life charity foundation.
